NGAUS Legislative Process

RESOLUTIONS – Your vehicle to communicate what is important to you!

SUBMISSION PROCESS FOR RESOLUTIONS TO NGAUS:

• Access the NGAUS resolutions web page and review the contents – click here
• Watch “National Guard Association of the United States Resolutions Process” video – https://youtu.be/FX_LiBSTJTo 
• Contact the NGACO Legislative Committee – Johnny O’Hagan (Air), Dave Cutler (Army) – legislativedirector@ngaco.org
• Complete the National Guard Association of the United States Draft Resolution Input Form – click here
• Submit completed form to NGACO Legislative Committee
• Be prepared to answer questions or provide background information
• Attend NGACO Annual conference and wait on feedback from NGACO Legislative Committee
• If decision is made to proceed and elevate to NGAUS, try to attend NGAUS Conference to monitor resolution status
• If resolution passes at NGAUS Conference, continue to monitor status and progress
